About a dozen people attended a "Meet the Candidates" event for Board of Education candidates yesterday evening at Calhoun Middle-High School.
Incumbents, Joy Starcher and Cynthia Dale, explained their platform and answered questions. Ralph Cunningham, the third candidate, did not attend.
The event was sponsored by the Calhoun Education Association.
Based on districting requirements, the only candidates that will contend for a seat are Dale and Cunningham.
