LAST WEEK'S HIGH WIND DID DAMAGE

No one lived in this mobile home belonging to Ray and Madeline Yoak, knocked off a four-block high foundation. Wind took roof off storage building (Photos by Kaye Yoak) Last week some high winds whipped across the county, the Hur Herald wind meter registered almost 50 mph, but the wind could have been higher for a few moments. The wind knocked down trees and power lines. It turns out, the wind did other damage near the intersection of White Pine and Bull River Road.
