ROANE ARMED ROBBER CAPTURED IN CHARLESTON

State Police have arrested a man for the armed robbery of a Roane County store Thursday. Police arrested Lucas Seth Hamilton, 18, at a hotel in Charleston today. Hamilton is reportedly from the Walton area. A police report says Hamilton and a juvenile went into Huffman's County Store near Walton with shotguns and stole $500 in cash and another $500 in cigarettes. Officers found one of the shotguns hidden under a mattress in the hotel room. Officers were able to track Hamilton down because of a good description of his car. Huffman's store is located on Left Hand Hill at the intersection of Ambler Ridge and US 119. They are still looking for his juvenile accomplice. Hamilton is in jail.
