SHOTS FIRED INTO CABOT STATION RESIDENCE - Drive-By Shooter Flees Scene

(03/05/2008)
State Police responded to what was described as a drive-by shooting at Cabot Station last night.

Perry Richards, the occupant of a mobile home just west of Restoration Station along Rt. 5, said shots had been fired at his dwelling and parked car, reportedly breaking windows.

Reports said three shots were discharged about 9:30 p.m.

Richards called 911 for assistance.

Richards reported that he felt an individual who had a conflict with his teenage son earlier in the evening over a girlfriend was the likely shooter.

Police responded quickly to the scene, continuing to investigate the matter early Wednesday morning.
