Calhoun's Jared Haught wrestled in the 31st annual West Virginia Jr. State Wrestling Championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2 in Beckley, WV.
Jared placed 1st in the 13-15 year old-130 lb weight class with a 4-0 tournament record, pinning 3 of his 4 opponents.
Jared is the 13 year old son of Tracy and Patty Haught of Big Springs and the grandson of Randall and Mila Arnold of Arnoldsburg and June Haught of Big Springs. Jared wrestles for the Parkersburg Cougars wrestling club.
