GATSOFF & JONES CROWNED LTC ROYALTY

The Long Term Care Unit of Minnie Hamilton Health System held their annual Valentine Tea on February 09. During the event, the 2008 King and Queen were crowned. The unit would like to thank all the resident's, families, visitors, and staff for participating in the election.

Queen Mabel Jones is a sweet but spunky little lady who loves to visit with her family. She and her husband Bob had 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls.

She has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a homemaker all her life. When asked what her favorite past times were she replied "laundry, cooking, gardening and tending to her kids." Mabel said she loves the "teaching" she gets on Long Term Care.

King Donald Gatsoff is a special fella. He enjoys helping others and getting involved in all aspects of facility life. He has one daughter and two grandchildren. He had several occupations prior to retirement including being a restaurant owner with his father and serving in the army as a medic.

He takes special pride in being the president of the Resident Council organization. He also enjoys traveling and fishing. Don says he loves participating in all the activities on Long Term Care and loves everybody here.
