Beulah G. Conley, 95 - Ripley

Beulah G. Conley, 95, of Ripley, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at Eldercare of West Virginia, Ripley, following a short illness.

She was born September 27, 1912, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late John and Hattie Gillian Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray R. Conley; an infant son, John W. Conley; brothers, Milo M. and Paul H. Smith; and sister, Olive C. Coon.

She was the office manager for several years at Hardman's Home Center and a member of Reedy United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Les W. Conley of Elyria, Ohio; daughters, Eleanor Rae (Jim Turner) Mills of Leroy and Barbara Lynn Conley of Ripley; grandchildren, Gregory A. (Kelly) Carder of Meadville, Pa., G. Todd (Kim) Carder of Vienna, Paula (John) Knopp of Ripley, Shawn A. (Donna) Carder of Bremen, Ohio, Brian D. (Petra) McGuire of Salzburg, Austria, and Matthew Ray McGuire of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Nathan Knopp, Wes Carder, Rae Knopp, Alden Carder and Paige, Madison and Darby Kassab.

In honoring Mrs. Conley's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.

Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
