(02/27/2008)
In the early minutes of play it looked as though the game could have gone either way.

Gilmer's James Farley led all scorers with 25 points. Teammate William Radcliff added 14, Daniel DuLude added 12.

Gilmer's coach Steve Shuff praised the team following the game.

"These kids have done a really great job," he said.

Shuff, in his ninth year as head coach, offered no predictions heading into the sectional finals Friday, 7 p.m., at Wirt County High School in Elizabeth.
