CHS STUDENT BODY RECOGNIZES WRESTLING CHAMPS

Coach Mike Stump recognizes cadre of wrestlers before student body A ceremony yesterday morning at Calhoun High School recognized the school's wrestlers for their outstanding performance. Coach Mike Stump introduced each of the wrestlers and statistics with great pride and appreciation, continuing the school's history of outstanding champion wrestlers and teams. Stump gave special recognition to 1st place champs Zach Yeager and Cody Clark, just returning from the tournament in Huntington. Calhoun High School came in 4th in the state. Other award-winning wrestlers were, Ben Laughlin, 2nd place; Nick Stevens, 4th place; Caden Arnold, 6th place; Jeff Goodrich, 6th Place. Also qualifying for the state tournament were, Sean Gungle, Austin Moore, Tim Sutro and Aaron Yoak. See earlier Herald stories.
