Welcome back to Beason. A place where the potholes will welcome you with open arms. I totally appreciate the folks that repaired the holes earlier in the winter. It kept the holes from eating our vehicles alive for a short time. Now, the holes have returned five times worse due to the water constantly getting high on the road. So, we could greatly use your assistance again.

My computer is up and running for a day or two. Hopefully, I haven't made the situation worse by trying to "repair" everything. I am one of those people who have to push every button then, have to go back and fix whatever it was that the button did. My computer is a learning experience every day of the week.

Chrystal D. went to California for a couple days with her husband Jimmy. Can you see a movie in the making about this? "Chrystal Takes L.A.". Somebody needs to call National Lampoon. I think this could go above and beyond the "Vacation" movies. Of course, I would have to take a percentage of the profit due to the fact it was my idea.

Our family enjoyed the Krispy Kreme fundraiser. My boys were already dividing the donuts up between them before we got home from school. It nearly killed them to wait until after dinner to have one. In all honesty, it nearly killed me as well. When I lived in North Carolina, we didn't live very far from a Krispy Kreme bakery. I think living next to that bakery was awesome; my great job was just an added plus.

We are extending the specials at the shop for the Jr. Wrestlers and Creed Collins' DC trip. It seems the information didn't make it out in time to plan on participating in these special offers. If you need more information, please call 643-2022.

We traveled to Nicholas County for the David Hypes Wrestling Tournament this past weekend. Ethan and I have made it a tradition to go down the night before and stay at a "fancy" (otherwise known as a hotel with a pool) hotel. This tradition has made me a lot more pleasant in the morning. If I had to leave Ritchie County at a painfully early hour, rest assured I would not be the sweet person that I am. (Ok, maybe that's going a bit far, but you know what I mean.) But, even if we didn't have a good wrestling day, we make a good weekend trip of it. Some of the boys placed, but all did a good job and are to be commended for their efforts.

I am assuming baseball season is right around the corner. I barely have to time to rest up from wrestling season. To be quite honest, I am not looking forward to it at all. Every year there's a lot of drama and a lot of bad attitudes. I have enough drama at my own house; I don't need it everywhere I go. But, hopefully, this year will bring about some changes.

There are some March birthdays coming up. Avery, Diana and Brian have birthdays in March. Avery's birthday party is being planned for March 15th. But, nothing is set in stone at this time. My sister and brother-in-law will be celebrating their wedding anniversary also in March.

My uncle is still in need of round hay bales. If you know of any, please call me at 483-3207 and let me know as soon as possible. I think everyone must've had a bad crop of hay last summer. I think the hay business is where the money is at this year. Sell a bale of hay; be able to put a gallon a gas in your car. How about that?

Health and happiness to you and yours.
