TWENTY YEARS AGO: GRIM REAPER AND CHAIN SAW KILLER ON HAUNTED TRAIL - Grantsville VFD Fundraiser Continues Tonight

(10/31/2020)

Enter if you dare, ghostly goblins greet trail visitors

2000 - The reaper was grim and the chain saw killer was in a bad mood at the Grantsville VFD's "Haunted Trail" last night. Kids and adults circled the trail at Calhoun County Park, with chills and screams heard above "gunshots" and the hum of the chain saw killer.

Chain saw killers, doin' what chain saw killers do best

Wanna take a walk on the darkside?

The department planted numerous ghosts and goblins along the trail, in addition to tombstones with cryptic epitaphs. Those who paid the $2 fee enjoyed snacks after the tour.

The "Haunted Trail" will be repeated tonight (Saturday) starting at 8 p.m. lasting until midnight.

The fundraiser by the fire department is to repair the fire siren in Grantsville.
