Kenneth B. Sampson, 57 - Arnoldsburg

Kenneth B. Sampson, 57, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away February 13, 2008 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio, following an extended illness.

Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Oral G. and Ruby Dillon Sampson. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Grantsville. He was a member of the Big Foot Tribe of the 4-H and had taught classes for the Lights On Program. He was funeral directors assistant at Stump Funeral Home for several years. An avid outdoorsman, he was an accomplished bow hunter and loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are a daughter, Anna Marie Sampson of Millstone; two brothers, Willard Sampson of St. Mary's, and Otis Sampson of Clayton, NC; two sisters, Ellen Coe of Barberton, OH, and Mary L. West of Arnoldsburg.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Mike Worf will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Grantsville.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
