BRAXTON MAGISTRATE RE-INDICTED

(02/14/2008)
The Braxton County Grand Jury has re-indicted magistrate Carolyn D. Cruickshanks and her son Jordan Grubb.

They have been indicted on charges of feloniously attempting to cause injury and loss to the person and property of Phillip Dailey in order to retaliate against Dailey for testifying in the felony criminal trial against Grubb.

Grubb had been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy.

Cruickshanks and Grubb had been previously indicted by a Braxton County Grand Jury on similar charges.

When the The matter went to trial last year, the proceedings ended in a hung jury.
