Ida Mae Curry Simers Calhoun, 86, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away February 4, 2008 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care System, Grantsville.

Born at Tanner, she was a daughter of the late Charles Alexander and Sarah Ellen Kelly Curry. She was a member of the Cherry Fork United Methodist Church.

Surviving are 3 sons, Charles Simers and Burl Simers and his wife Jean all of Grantsville, and John Simers and his wife Linda of Mt. Zion; 2 grandchildren, Sandra (John) Bugby and Cindy Simers; 1 step grandchild, Charlie Roy Richards, Jr. (Mandee); 1 great grandson, David Bugby, 4 step great grandchildren, Alexa Richards, Brogan Richards, Kyler Propst, and Mason Propst.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Callie Simers in 1969, and her second husband Blaine Calhoun in 1995; 8 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 half sister and 1 half brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
