| A bunch of Braxton County residents would like to be sheriff.
Eleven candidates have filed for the Sheriff's race.
The Democrat candidates include: Larry Emge, John E. Stump, Charles "Chuck" Hosey, George L. Keener, Eddie D. Smallwood, Jeffrey McLaughlin, Luther Ford Powers, Richard H. Perkins, Gary Lane Hacker and Johnny Wine.
Eddie Williams is the lone Republican candidate.
Sheriff Howard Carpenter is ending his eight-year stint. |
