YOUTH WRESTLERS COMPETE IN TOURNEYS

Submitted by Kristie Ritchie Calhoun Youth Wrestlers competed January 19th at Parkersburg South High School, in the Rod Oldham Tournament, as well as the Clarksburg Take Down Tournament. First place - Cole Ritchie 9&10 100; Allen Metheney 9&10 65; Bryer Metheney 6&Under. Second place - Jakiah Hickman 6&Under 55; Katie Jones 7&8; Jerry Jones 7&8; Houstin McCune 9&10 65; Dakota Delaney 9&10; Austin Metheney 9&10. Third place - Casey Ritchie 9&10 85; Dalton McCune 7&8. Fourth place - Jerrod Hildreth 9&10 85. Congratulations to ALL Calhoun Youth Wrestlers for a job well done! Calhoun Youth Wrestlers, coaches and families would like to express our gratitude to the community for supporting our youth program. The youth program was able to purchase new singlets and warm ups for the entire team as a result of our fund raising efforts. Youth wrestlers will be traveling to Belpre, Ohio to compete in the Belpre Golden Eagle Classic February 2nd. Calhoun will be hosting their 3rd annual wrestling tournament on February 17, please come out and support the team.
