COTTRELL & CLOTHIER JOIN HOUSE RACE FOR 33RD DELEGATE SEAT

Orma Democrat and longtime politico Larry Cottrell has thrown his hat into the House of Delegates race for the 33rd District, doing a mail-in filing to the Secretary of State's office.

Diann Clothier (Democrat) a long-time resident of Millstone has also filed with the Secretary of State for the House seat.

Cottrell and Clothier join three other candidates to fill the vacancy left by Bill Stemple, who has ended his legislative stint by filing for Calhoun Sheriff.

Retired Calhoun Superintendent of Schools and long-time educator Ron Blankenship of Grantsville (Democrat) has filed, in addition to Gilmer resident Rick Frame and Clay resident David Walker.

Delegates face re-election every two years.
