CALHOUN WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

State Police in Roane County arrested Kristin Melrath, 26, of Calhoun Thursday. She has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance, apparently not obtained by prescription, and possession of marijuana, greater than 15 grams. Patricia Marks, 25, of Roane County, was also arrested and charged Thursday with DUI revoked and possession of a controlled substance, apparently without a prescription and DUI-2nd, according to Central Regional Jail.
