Calhoun placed 4th behind Wahama 3rd, Roane 2nd, and Wirt 1st. Leading Calhoun with 1st place individual wins were, 110# Justin Yoak 5-0; 116# Seth Wease 5-0; and 135# Cory Metz 5-0. Second place honors went to, 95# Jean Blair 4-1. Third place finishers were, 128# Jared Haught 4-1; and 145# Thomas Smith 4-1. Placing fourth at 3-2 was, 84# Justin Siers. Other individual records were, 102# Levi Gordon 1-3; 123# David Overbay 0-4; 155# Cory Beder 2-2; and 171# Cody Starcher 1-3. Season records are, Siers 7-24, Blair 26-7; Gordon 6-24; Yoak 27-6; Wease 20-8; Overbay 8-24; Haught 25-3; Metz 23-8; Smith 16-15; Beder 2-2; and Starcher 10-20. Calhoun travels to the Huntington Civic Center for the WSAZ Invitational Jan. 18-19 and to Braxton Middle Feb. 2 for the CWVAC conference match.
