Calhoun Youth Wrestlers competed at Warren Youth Wrestling Tournament in Ohio on January 6, 2008.

Results - 6 and Under, Briar Metheney 55 lbs. 4th place; Jakiah Hickman 60 lbs. 3rd place.

Ages 7 and 8, Katie Jones 45 lbs. 3rd place; Conner Ritchie 90 lbs. 4th place.

Ages 9 and 10, Houstin McCune 65 lbs. 2nd place; Allen Metheney 65 lbs. 3rd place; Casey Ritchie 85 lbs. 1st place; Cole Ritchie 95 lbs. 1st place; Austin Metheney 120 lbs. 3rd place.

Team Placement - 1st Warren; 2nd Jr. Patriots; 3rd Wirt County; 4th South Parkersburg; 5th Calhoun County.

Calhoun Wrestlers traveled to Mineral Wells for the 15th annual Mineral Wells Invitational on January 12, 2008, over 42 different teams were represented from 6 states.

Results - Ages 7 and 8, Dalton McCune 60 lbs. 4th place.

Ages 9 and 10, Casey Ritchie 85 lbs. 1st place; Cole Ritchie 95 lbs. 3rd place.
