| Gene Edward Wagoner, 58, of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at his home with family at his bedside.
He was born July 12, 1949, the son of Elza and Myra Midcap Wagoner.
Surviving Gene are his wife, Jeanne Hoskins Wagoner; sons, Jamie (Ruscee) Wagoner and Brian (Lori) Wagoner; grandchildren, Breanna Wagoner and MacKenzie Holbert; two brothers, Elmer (Faye) of Sand Ridge and Ray of Parkersburg; and one sister, Susan (Bill) Davidson of Davisville.
Gene retired from Ames Co. in 2004 after 36 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, birding and ham radio.
A private service will be held at the family's convenience.
