| Police responded to "gunshots being fired into a house" on Little White Oak Road shortly after 7 p.m., a short distance from State Rt. 16 near Chloe.
Authorities indicated the problem was linked to a "domestic situation."
Reports indicated a male subject came to a residence and began firing shots into the structure. He was then "removed from the scene by his father," before officers arrived.
Calhoun Deputy Sheriff Justin Metheney responded with a State Police officer from Roane County.
No reports of injury when officers arrived on scene.
Reports indicated other altercations had happened or were happening linked to the incident. |
