Argle Bernard Hannah, 83 - Vienna

Argle Bernard Hannah, 83, of Vienna passed away Dec. 6, 2007, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 23, 1924, in Grantsville, W.Va., to the late Clinton and Ina Bennett Hannah. Argle was retired after 47 years from Consolidated Gas Co., where he was division manager. He was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church, a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, member of VFW Post 573 and served his country as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Elsie Williams Hannah; a daughter, Hope Phillips of Mineral Wells; two sons, Edwin Hannah and wife, Robin, of Parkersburg and Fred Hannah and wife, Janice, of New Market, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend who is like a brother, Jim Eller and wife, Becky, of Sevierville, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; one brother; one brother-in-law; one granddaughter; and one grandson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.
