Bina A. Hicks, 91 - Formerly of Little White Oak

Bina A. Hicks, 91, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Little White Oak Community, Chloe, West Virginia, passed away November 27, 2007 at Hospice of Ridgwood in Akron.

She was born in Clay County, a daughter of the late Lambert and Rebecca Mollohan Cooper. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Candice Burnside and her husband Kenneth of Akron; three sisters, Marlene Tanner and her husband Arnold of Nebo, Elva Browning and her husband Carl of Charleston, and Elza Vaughan and her husband Harry of Dunbar; 3 grandchildren, Crystal (Keith) Anderson, Kevin Burnside and April Burnside all of Akron; 3 great grandchildren, Kayal Burnside, Christopher Anderson and Briana Daniels.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rector Hicks.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Jim Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in the Hicks Cemetery, Little White Oak, Chloe.

Friends may call at the funeral from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday.
