Roland Rex Griffin, 69, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, formerly of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away November 24, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tennessee. Born at Arnoldsburg, he was a son of the late Rex Scott and Edith Webb Griffin. He was a US Air Force Veteran and was a retired crew chief for Northwest Airlines. Surviving are a daughter, Tara Griffin Jackson of California; a sister, Diane Shook and her husband Daniel of Potomac, Maryland; a brother, Gary Griffin and his wife Cynthia of Dousman, Wisconsin; and 2 grandchildren, Krystyn and Thomas Ian. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Masonic Graveside rites will be conducted by Eureka Lodge #40 A.F. and A.M. of Grantsville and military rites will be provided by the Spencer American Legion Post.
