Ruffus Judson McCumbers, 70, of Nicut, WV died Sunday October 7, 2001 at his
home following a long illness.
He was born at Nicut a son of the late Samuel and Viola Tucker McCumbers. He
was retired from the Department of Highways in Braxton County.
Mr. McCumbers is survived by his wife of 49 years, Edith M. McCumbers, a son,
Samuel John McCumbers of Nicut; three daughters, Brenda M. Dickey and Peggy
Craddock both of Nicut and Trevia J. Fulks of Calhoun County; a brother, Clyde
McCumbers of Rosedale, WV and eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Joshua, Eric,
Stephanie and Jessie McCumbers, Amanda Dickey Booher, Kyle and Christopher
Craddock and Samantha, Michael and Alisha Fulks; two great granddaughters,
Kristen Nicole Booher and Branwyn Faith Elliott.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by thirteen brothers and
sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at 1 p.m. at Stump
Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Reverend Jerry Scott will officiate. Interment will
be in the Mt. Run Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour
prior to to the time of service, Wednesday.
