DEER KILL UP IN CALHOUN

Unofficial numbers indicate the deer kill in Calhoun is up 60% over last year, bucks and does. The kill appears to be up about 25% in the region. The first four days, about 550 deer have been checked in Calhoun. Roane 911, up about 45% Gilmer, 652, up about 40% Ritchie, 798, up slightly Wirt, 346, up about 10%
