Zella E. Ferrell, 91 - Big Bend

Zella E. Ferrell, 91, of Big Bend, West Virginia, passed away November 16, 2007 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Dolly Dawson Snider. She was a former Foster Grandmother at Brooksville Elementary School and was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Paul Snider of Mineral Wells and Gary Ferrell of Sanford, North Carolina; 2 daughters, Jeanette Kyer and Geneva Hayes both of Parkersburg; sister, Ruth Docse of Virginia; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Ferrell; a son, Hoy Ferrell; 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandson. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in the Goodnight Cemetery at Big Bend. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services Monday.
