Barbara Rosalea Bennett, 51, of Rosedale, Braxton County, WV, died Saturday, January 20th. in an automobile accident near Rosedale. Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Lucy Marks of Orma, WV and the late Curtis Marks. Mrs. Bennett was a nursing assistant at Braxton County Memorial Hospital and attended the House of Prayer of Gassaway, WV. Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Larry R. Bennett. A daughter and son-in- law, Malinda and Ryan Bailey of Poca, WV. A son, Ernest R. Bennett of Rosedale. Four brothers, Rev. Carl Marks of Arnoldsburg, Lester Marks of New London, NC, Ray Marks of Smithville, Ohio and Ronzel Marks of Orma. Also surviving are , four sisters, Kathleen Sohar of Creston, Ohio. Virginia Brady of Greenville, SC, Wanda Lee McCumbers of Orma and Vicky Chastain of Millstone, WV. Two grandsons, Hayden and Chase Bailey of Poca. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Marks and three brothers, Darrell, Basil and Delmar Marks. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Beech Grove Baptist Church at Nicut, WV. Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Mill Fork Cemetery at Rosedale. Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, from 6-9 p.m., Monday.
