Betty Ellen Whited, 64, of Reedy, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, in the CAMC - General Hospital, Charleston. She was born January 29, 1943 at Looneyville, a daughter of the late Orland and Isabelle Greathouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dessie Manno. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Gandee Chapel Church and the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Survivors include her husband, Blake I. Whited of Reedy; a son Ralph Issac Whited of Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Emzy Ashby and the Rev. Donald Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
