Submitted by David White

The staff and students of Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center are taking a collection of items to send to Career Center graduates that are deployed overseas.

The project is to thank our local troops and their families for the sacrifice they are making.

Anyone wishing to donate may drop off items from the list below at the Career Center no later than November 6th.

The list was provided by a soldier who is currently deployed.

Wet Ones, disposable razors, individual drink mix powders (Crystal Light, etc.) Gold Bond Powder, Slim Jim snacks, hard candy, throat lozenges, hand sanitizers, puzzle books, pain relievers, flea collars, and Neosporin.

God bless our troops and our country.
