(10/30/2007)

Award Winners (L-R) Elizabeth Duskey, Dana
Thomas, Sarah Postalwait, Anna Sampson

Calhoun High School recently received notification that four students had achieved "distinguished" on the state writing assessment that is administered every spring to tenth graders.

Elizabeth Duskey, Dana Thomas, Sarah Postalwait, and Anna Sampson received the recognition.

Distinguished on the writing assessment is the highest possible performance level any student can receive and is a reflection of the quality of the composition, as well as the quality of instruction.

The students received a letter of congratulations from State Superintendent of Schools Stephen L. Paine at an awards assembly held last week.
