| Isabelle Veon Darling, 78, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, died Sept. 22, 2001, at her
home.
She was born May 2, 1923, in Brohard, W.Va., daughter of the late Harry H.
and Pansy Barnette Veon. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist
Church in LaCrosse.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Pierce of LaCrosse; one son, Warren
Darling of California; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five
sisters, Mona Welham and Norma Rollins both of Harrisville, Estal Haught and
Wilda Dye both of Brohard, and Carol Rollins of Cairo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Darling; and one sister,
Glenna Goodnight.
Services were held Sept. 26 at the Wesley United Methodist Church of
LaCrosse.
