Tim Davis performs taste-testing on apple butter

The Calhoun County Wood Festival Apple Butter Stir-Off and special Fall events went on without a hitch Saturday at Wayne Underwood Field.

The event focused on the making of apple butter, and there was an apple pie contest.

There was a number of special events throughout the day and evening, including a Chicken Bar-B-Q and Halloween costume parade.

An auction benefited the Coleman and Katheryn Burrows Memorial Fund.
