HAUNTED TRAIL HAS GHOSTS, GOBLINS AND GHOULS - 7 To Midnight County Park

A Haunted Trail of chilling scares greets visitors to County Park

Ghosts, goblins and ghouls greeted visitors to the Haunted Trail last night at Calhoun Park. There were lots of special effects, from flying ghosts to a chainsaw massacre.

The event is being sponsored by Calhoun EMS.

Visitors go to the first shelter, a right turn, up the hill to commence the walk, which includes a guided tour with a storyteller.

The trail is open tonight from 7 to midnight.

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids under 12.

Concessions will be sold, hots dogs $1, hot chocolate and coffee 50 cents.

4-H HALLOWEEN PARTY - Saturday, 8 to 10 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Community Park. Fun, games, candy, costume judging. Come join us for a great time!

MHHS LONG TERM CARE - Will have trick or treat Saturday, October 27 from 6-7 p.m.

GRANTSVILLE TRICK-OR-TREAT - October 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.

ARNOLDSBURG TRICK OR TREAT - October 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

HAUNTED HOUSE - Glenville State College's Delta Xi Rho sorority and GSC's Alpha Xi Omega fraternity will be sponsoring a Haunted House on October 27th, 30th, 31st and November 1st. The Haunted House will be held at the Gilmer County Recreation Center and will run from 8-11 p.m. each evening. Prices are, Adults $5; GSC Students (with ID) $3; Children under 12 - $2.
