WILD MEATS SERVED AT LONG RIFLE DINNER - Tom Lane Is Second Year Champ

Tom Lane is the Calhoun Long Rifle Club's muzzle loading champion shooter for a second year. Lane was presented the club's trophy at a dinner held yesterday afternoon at the Upper West Fork Park.

The muzzleloaders have several different shoots throughout the year, often held at Nicut. About 50 people attended the event which included a large table of country foods, including various dishes featuring bear and deer meat. Arnoldsburg resident Charley McKown brought the bear meat back from Richwood. Dozens of door and bingo prizes presented to the attendees.
