CALHOUN MAN ARRESTED AFTER ERRATIC DRIVING

(10/22/2007)
A cell phone report of erratic driving Sunday on Rt. 16 near Arnoldsburg ended in the arrest of Danny Knicley, 36, of Chloe.

Knicley was taken into custody in Roane County by the Sheriff's Department, who arrested him for battery and driving suspended, 3rd offense.

Knicley was recently arrested for assaulting an officer in Calhoun County, following an incident at a Chloe residence where Knicley was reported to be holding a knife to his own throat.

Calhoun Sheriff's deputies and two State policemen responded to that incident.
