AUTO AND ATV ACCIDENTS KEEP EMERGENCY SERVICES BUSY

Calhoun EMS responded to two auto accidents and one ATV wreck Friday.

A driver escaped serious injury when her car failed to make a turn on Phillip's Run at 2:04 p.m. The female driver was taken to MHHS by EMS. The Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department responded, with Deputy Justin Metheney investigating.

Car rolled over coming out of turn just south of Arnoldsburg

A car went out-of-control on rain slick Rt. 16 south of Arnoldsburg at 3:17 p.m., the vehicle rolled over coming to rest in a field. The driver was reported as not seriously injured, but she was taken to Roane General Hospital.

The Arnoldsburg VFD responded. Deputy Justin Metheney investigated.

Calhoun EMS responded to an ATV accident on Little Creek Rd. at 7:18 p.m. Friday, taking a woman to MHHS. She was later life-flighted by HealthNet to Charleston Area Medical Center.
