Raban was hired in July to replace longtime coach Steve Harold, who resigned earlier this year.

In a statement released today by the school, Wyatt-Raban said she's resigning from her alma mater for personal reasons.

Wyatt-Raban played for the Lady Pioneers from 2001 through 2004.

After graduating in 2005 with a physical education degree, she began teaching at a middle school in Tazewell, Va., and also coached a girls' basketball team in Bluefield, Va.
