Ronald Gail Cain, Sr., 65 - Grantsville

Ronald Gail Cain, Sr., 65, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away October 6, 2007 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg following a long illness.

Born December 21, 1941 in Tanner, WV, he was an avid outdoors man and hunter. He was a well known gun trader and was an accomplished musician.

Ronnie is survived by his faithful companion Virginia L. Simmons of Grantsville; his mother Ruie Bond of Grantsville; four sons, Ronnie Cain, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Gary Cain of Newberne, WV, Chris Cain of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and David Adkins of Ft. Walton Beach; one daughter, Tammy Linton of Columbus; two brothers, Charles Cain and wife Merle of Columbus, and Ted Bond and wife Ginger of Weston, WV; a sister, Sue Jordon of Grantsville; 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, along with a multitude of friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Gail Cain; a brother, Gary Cain; and a sister, Linda Cain.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 11, to be immediately followed by the funeral services at 7 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Charlene Spaur will officiate.

Private interment will be in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Tanner, WV.
