| Deloris "Jewell" Hersman, 63, of Orma, West Virginia, passed away October 6, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She passed away at home under the care of her family and hospice.
Jewell was born January 19, 1944 in Calhoun County, a daughter of Vada Parsons Reip of Pennsylvania and the late Dalton Reip.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, William Dean Hersman and her mother, Vada; 2 sons, Dalton Glenn Brady of Stumptown and Joseph Dwayne (Angela) Hersman of Millstone; 1 daughter, Deborah E. Hersman of Orma, and a step son, Michael Hersman of Spencer; 7 grandchildren, Travis and Talia Brady, Nathaniel, Arla, Nicholas Lane, Ashley Jo Hersman, Alex Hersman, and 1 great grandchild, Ien Bird.; a brother, Dalton Reip, Jr., of Minnora; a sister, Emma Jean Conley of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Blaine Reip.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 9 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. C.W. McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in the Reip Cemetery at Orma.
