TOURNAMENT TO FEATURE FORMER GSC GREATS

Glenville, WV - The 1st Annual GSC Golf Tribute Tournament will take place on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Glenville Golf Club. The tournament is being held during the Glenville State College Homecoming Weekend as a fundraiser for the GSC Men's and Women's Golf teams and as a tribute to former GSC players and coaches.

The format for the outing is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Entries are being accepted for individual golfers or complete teams. There is a minimum handicap of 40 for any team entry.

The entry fee for the tournament is $60.00 per player and includes golf, cart, mulligan, skins game, and breakfast and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. There will also be prizes for a Casino hole, closest to the pin, longest drive, longest put, and 50/50 drawing.

Special guests for the event will include Honorary Starter Holli Owens, Ms. West Virginia and former GSC Coaches Tim Carney, Rick Simmons, and Dennis Fitzpatrick.
