Alice "Tootsie" McCormick, 57 of Grantsville, WV, died Friday, September 28, 2001 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville. Born in Calhoun County she was the daughter of the late Hoy D. and Nola Richards Meadows. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Grantsville, where she was also a Secret Sister. Surviving are two sons, Bernard Duane McCormick and his wife Sharlette of Mt. Zion, WV and Franklin D. McCormick and his wife Sherry of Grantsville; a sister, Blonda Richards of Parkersburg, WV; a brother, William Meadows of Grantsville; four grandchildren, Christopher, Vanessa, Courtney and Isabella. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Reverends William Law and Mike Worf will officiate. Interment will be in the Big Springs Cemetery, Big Springs, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
