The Lady Red Devils traveled to West Union on Tuesday, September 25 for a varsity match with Doddridge County.

Calhoun lost the match in four games: 21-25, 25-16, 24-26, 22-25.

Scoring: Caytee Prusack 13 pts, 4 aces;Kayla Hixon 13 pts, 3 aces; Jocelynn Cunningham 12 pts., 2 aces; Tessa Batten 4 points, 2 aces;Arla Lane 3 pts. 1 ace; Melissa Jarvis 2 pts. 1 ace; Amy Ashley 1 pt. Jocelynn Cunningham was 75/104 setting with 20 assists. From the attack line: Arla Lane was 18/22 with 13 kills; Caytee Prusack 17/20 with 4 kills; Tessa Batten 17/18 with 3 kills;Melissa Jarvis 14/18 with 3 kills; Kayla Hixon 12/13 with 2 kills. The Lady Red Devils were on the road the next evening playing South Harrison at Lost Creek. Calhoun won the match in three straight games 25-1, 25-16, 25-12.

Doddridge County did not have a JV team so the junior varsity did not play on the 25th. The JV lost to South Harrison 17-25, 20-25 on the 27th.

From the attack line: Kayla Wilson was 4/6, 1 kill; Michelle Hall was 5/9, 2 kills; Karissa Reip was 3/5, 1 kill; Kelsey Collins was 1/2, 1 kill; Katie Collins 2/4. The JV record is 2-5.

The Lady Red Devils will host Gilmer on Monday night for their last home match of the regular season. Senior night recognition will be held before the varsity match. On Tuesday the team travels to Williamstown and to Wirt County on Thursday.
