Evelyn Jane Hathaway Haught, 73 - Parkersburg

Evelyn Jane Haught, 73, of Parkersburg went to be with the Lord Sept. 25, 2007, from the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.

She was born in Calhoun County on Oct. 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Clyde Hathaway and Goldie M. Bennett Hathaway. She was a member of the Rosemar United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her three children, Tammy Haught Jackson and husband, Roger, of Parkersburg, Rick Haught and wife, Debbie, of Washington, W.Va., and Mike Haught and wife, Kim, of Vienna; brother, Troy Hathaway of Parkersburg; sister, Nada Newhouse of Stillwell, W.Va.; mother-in-law, Velva F. Haught of Walker; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Jody, Kevin, Chris, Jason and Brian Haught, Jeremy Bailey and Rheanna Jackson; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell I. Haught; two brothers; and two sisters.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor M. Earl Arthur Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
