Longtime Arnoldsburg resident Florence Laughlin Hall, 88, has been selected as the Parade Marshal for the 40th annual Molasses Festival Parade this Saturday at 1 p.m.

Her late husband, Criss Hall, was a Parade Marshal in 1987.

Ms. Hall was a former cook at Arnoldsburg Elementary School, worked for Kellwood and Hall Dozer Company.

She has three daughters, Carolyn Nester, Linda Goodwin and Kathy Westfall, a son Butch Hall, and a deceased son, Kenneth Hall.

Ms. Hall has 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
