BIKER SHOOTS GIRLFRIEND - It's a case where a boyfriend admits he shot his girlfriend. Yesterday, Steven Black plead guilty to attempted murder to a crime he committed last summer.

Authorities say Black shot his girlfriend Beverly Lively in the head while the two were riding their motorcycles along a remote road in Sissonville.

Now, the judge has revoked Black's bond.

He faces up to 15 years in prison. He'll be sentenced in December.

MAN THROWS MONEY OUT WINDOW - Upshur County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man they say robbed a Buckhannon bar.

Paul White, 28, walked into Nancy's Breakaway Lounge and robbed it at gunpoint.

Police spotted White about two hours later near Brushy Fork Road.

He took off and as deputies chased him. They say he tried to lose them, by throwing the stolen money in the air.

The money was recovered.

White was also wanted on malicious wounding charges in Webster County where he beat up his girlfriend during a domestic dispute, badly injuring her face.

MAN FLEES ON ATV AFTER SHOOTING — One man shot another with a shotgun after the two were involved in an altercation, according to a deputy with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department.

Delmar Lee Cozart, 46, of Harper, shot Shawn Stines in a house in Eccles. Stines was shot in the left hip.

Cozart apparently fled the area on an ATV, but Cpl. S. Ellison of the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department arrested Cozart later without incident.

RITCHIE MAN SHOOTS NEIGHBOR - Pennsboro Police arrested Gregg Smith, 49, last week after he allegedly shot his neighbor.

Police say Gregg Smith and Thomas Smith Jr, 38, got into a fight. That's when Gregg Smith allegedly shot his neighbor in the the left leg.

The victim was taken by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Thomas Smith was listed in stable condition on Saturday.

Gregg Smith is now facing charges for attempted murder and two counts of malicious wounding and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $200,000 bond.

Police say over the past several months they've been called out to deal with verbal disagreements and arguments between the neighbors.
