| Edna Ann Harper, 89, of Spencer died Sept. 22, 2001, at Roane General
Hospital, Spencer.
She was born Nov. 7, 1911, at Walton, a daughter of the late Fry and Emilie
M. Clute Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gospel Truth
Church, Spencer.
Survivors include her husband, French Harper of Spencer; one daughter,
Dorothy Walker Spencer of Canton, Ohio; three sisters, Nellie Robinson of
Walton, Alma Cottrell of Elkview and Gena Collins of Friendly; seven
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Webb
and William Walker.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer,
the Rev. Darrell Alvis and the Rev. David Alvis officiating. Burial in Rocky
Branch Cemetery, Walton.
