| The Calhoun County High School Lady Red Devils volleyball opened their 2007 season by
hosting Clay County yesterday evening in an LKC South match. The Red Devil Varsity claimed victory in straight games 25-13, 25-18, 25-14 to win the match. Scoring for Calhoun: Kayla Hixon 18 points, 3 aces; Arla Lane 14 points, 5 aces; Jocelyn Cunningham 7 points, 5 aces; Caytee Prusack 6 points, 2 aces; Tessa Batten 3 points; Melissa Jarvis 2 points, 1 ace; and Amy Ashley 1 point. Kills: Caytee Prusack 4; Arla Lane 4; Tessa Batten 2; Kayla Hixon 2; and Melissa Jarvis 1. Assists: Jocelyn Cunningham 15. The Junior Varsity defeated Clay 25-15 and 25-19 to win their match. Scoring for Calhoun: Sarah Postalwait 10 points, 6 aces; Kayla Wilson 10 points, 2 aces; Ashley Houchin 9 points; Karisaa Reip 2 points, Kelcey Collins 2 points; Hannah Wilson 1 point.
