CALHOUN HAS FIRST ATV FATALITY

(08/21/2007)
A 22-year-old Calhoun man has been identified this morning as the victim of an ATV accident.

Joshua Lee Roberts died on-scene about 4:30 p.m. yesterday from injuries received in a four-wheeler accident just off Sand Ridge/US 33-119 on Crummies Creek Road hill.

Roberts had reportedly been working at a drilling operation in Clay County when he was dropped-off by co-workers on the left fork of Crummies Creek, where he got on his four-wheeler to continue home to Millstone.

Fellow employees from Key Energy discovered Roberts, after his ATV struck a tree.

He is the son of Lachelle Roberts of Millstone and Kevin Roberts of Spencer, and has several siblings well-known to the Calhoun community.

Roberts is the grandson of Sue Roberts and the late Gary Roberts of Millstone.

Funeral services will be completed at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg.
